Your Role

We are looking for employees to join our team of planners responsible for the workshop planning of maintenance workshops. The relevant maintenance workshops work with mechanical and electromechanical systems for both civilian and military customers. Together with planners based in Arboga, we are a section responsible for production planning, order management, and customer support. The section has a team leader per location, and we work on common issues and contracts.

You will be stationed in the Malmslätt district of Linköping. Our team continuously drives improvement work and we apply LEAN in our goal management.

Through dialogue with various parts of the organization, you as a planner will gain an overview and understanding of how the workshop units should be prioritized. The planner works with recovery plans, material assurance, as well as regularly reporting delivery status. As a planner, you will closely collaborate with production leaders, purchasing departments, and engineers to meet set delivery dates.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys an operational planning role where you can utilize your strengths in structuring and managing data, as well as prioritizing and planning. You thrive in a business-oriented environment and actively strive for high service levels and customer satisfaction. You achieve this primarily through interaction and collaboration within your immediate workgroup and with other organizational units within Saab.

To fit in the role, we believe you enjoy having a large network and that your workday varies depending on incoming tasks. You are self-driven and solution-oriented, adapting and contributing to changes that benefit the goal.

We believe that through previous work experience in planning/logistics, you have gained a good understanding of flows and processes, and that you are familiar with business systems such as IFS, SAP, or similar. Since you are expected to handle a lot of data and work with international business and projects in the planner role, good knowledge of Excel and the ability to express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is essential.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
